Tooo Faced Naked Eye VS. Urban Decay Naked palette

In the Buff, Birthday Suit, Pink Cheeks
Pillow Talk, Satin Sheets, Lap Dance
Like a Virgin, Unmentionables, Stiletto

Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half Baked
Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep, Gunmetal

I really like both palettes, so let me tell you why.

Too Faced is really more of a Naked Eye palette as its called, and the color payoff is really well and the shadows do not crumble and have lots of excess fall out. Great neutral palette and you can also do evening looks with it as well.
It also comes with 3 little insert cards to show you how to do 3 different looks, which is great if you are a beginner.

Urban Decay Naked palette, is not that at all, it has mostly shimmery colors, dont get me wrong I love me some shimmer. I do love the color selection, but I dont think the name fits with this palette at all.
The colors are soft and do crumble easy with lots of fall, I would say this is more of a smokey eye palette with darker neutrals.

As I said I do really like them both, but If you truly want that Naked Eye look, Too Faced Naked Eye palette is the way to go.

Too Faced Naked Eye palette retails for $35.00

Urban Decay Naked palette retails for $ 44.00

  1. I swatched them in the store and I couldn't believe how silky the too faced shadows were!!! Thanks for the great pictures!

  2. I was torn on whether to buy the Too faced palette. I really like the too faced makeup, but the one thing I didn't like was how big the package it. I wish it would have been a thinner box or had a secret drawer with eyeliner or something inside. haha. I did buy the urban decay palette though and I love it! I just found your videos and blog recently, and i love you!

  3. I saw the Naked Eye online & looked for them at a recent trip to Sephora. I was sure I would like it but....I didn't. I didn't like the color choices in the palettes. I still like the UD Naked but no one has it in stock!

  4. I've been on the fence about the Too Faced palette. Thanks for your review. Only wish I could justify it's (or the Naked) purchase

  5. I like the TOO FACED palettes too..but they are bulky...Its difficult to travel with.

The UD has come up wth this lovely palette, which I think is sleek and waay better than those bulky Book Of Shadows..Would love if UD comes wth another similar palette, with more Neutral colors...Lets call it NEUTRAL palette...
