IMATS was held on June 26 & 27 2010 in Pasadena, California.
This is the most anticipated trade show in the makeup industry.
I have attended for the past 2 years, and this year was about double the people from last years show I would say.
There were so many Exhibitors & vendors , most giving discounts of some sort, some brands like Make Up For Ever was 40 % off , Naimies I believe was giving the same, some only 20% off like Mac Pro, it just depended on the company.
There were so many You Tube vloggers, Bloggers, makeup artist, it was insane.
I met so many wonderful people this year.
I even helped at the Artist Summit on sunday...I was honored to do so, thank you Pursebuzz ( Elessa), you are absolutely wonderful.
This year I went with a list of items I knew I wanted, and I had a budget, which I suggest most of you do who plan to attend in the future.
Top 2 items on my list were Dinair Airbrush system and my Zuca bag.... I highly recommend them both!
Everything is on display for you to try, and feel. Its a great opportunity for you to find out what items are hit and misses for you.
Also its a great opportunity to network.
I will be adding my haul swatches and reviews in the near future, so stay tuned.
Here are some pictures below with some wonderful people I met, and had the opportunity to hang out with.

Swatches from L to R #9 peachy coral, #7 fushcia, #21 navy blue, #22 Turquoise
These are from MUFE and these babies are truly water proof.
Some colors do say specifically for cheeks & lips, and some say for eyes.
But I wore the the #9 which is a gorgeous peachy coral as a eye liner the other day and went to a festival, and it was hot hot hot to say the least and the liner stayed put. ( that one says for cheeks and lips), but it worked well as a eye liner.
The textures are more creamy on the ones meant for cheeks and lips, but If you do use it as a lip color, please remember to exfoliate and moisturize your lips prior or it will look blotchy.
I recommend adding gloss over it too, because it will just look matte and dry.
The price tag on these is $22.00 I believe, but truly worth it, a little goes along way.
The only down side I would say, is the liners look very matte in my opinion , although they do have a little shimmer in them it doesnt show up much and I do prefer a bit more shine, but the staying power is there and the colors are gorgeous.
I know you wont be disappointed with these, they're fabulous!!
