Chanel Soho highlight powder/blush & Stunt lipgloss review

These swatches dont do it just , these are gorgeous colors

This is a more accurate picture of the Soho De Chanel compact. L.E. $65.00

I was very hesitant to buy anything from this collection, when I first saw the promo pictures of it, more so because of the prices.
I kept lemming after the Soho De Chanel powder, and after two weeks I decided to take the plunge and buy it and I am glad I did..
It is gorgeous to say the least and I love the gloss too, very smooth on my lips.

I know this is no small purchase, but If you are a Chanel fan or just love this palette it is a must have, especially being Limited Edition.

I though it would be to light for my skin tone, that was a hesitation for me too, I have only seen other blogs with lighter skin tones swatched and I was thinking no way is it gonna show up on me.

Yay, it does show up on me and very well I must say!!

If your on the fence I would say Get it!! Get it soon too because they're already Limited Quantities. I know its not a cheap purchase, but is anything from Chanel ever?

Let me know what you think???

I am wearing Mac Pro long wear foundation in NW35 and the concealer in NW 35 as well. Chanel De Soho highlight/blush on my cheeks and Stunt Rouge Allure on lips, and mascara.

Rouge Allure Laque in Stunt, a gorgeous pinky/plum. L.E. $32.00

NARS Eurydice dupe/ Wet n Wild Lust palette

Top: Nars Eurydice, Bottom: Wet N Wild Lust palette

I really love NARS cosmetics, so I was super excited to discover a perfect dupe for Eurydice.

I had bought three Wet n wild palettes a while back, Lust, Vanity and Greed.
I paid $3.99 a piece for these at Target (on sale).

To my surprise these are actually very nice colors, and the color payoff is excellent. I guess I used to think Wet n Wild was cheap quality in general because of the low cost. Boy they have really stepped up their game.

Fast forward to now, I was looking through my NARS makeup stash, doing swatches, etc. and one duo stood out in particular. I knew I had colors that resembled them.

Light bulb flash! My Wet n Wild Lust palette.

These are the closest dupes I have found, and actually I like and prefer the Lust palette for $3.99 over the Nars Eurydice which I paid $32.00 for.
Not just because the price is way better, but the colors in general are better in my opinion.

The Nars one looks prettier in the palette, but once applied to the eyes, it doesn't look as pretty.
So I tested one eye with Nars and one with Wet n Wild. I wore it all day long. I asked several people which side looked better and most said they couldn't tell the difference.

When I pressed them to please choose a side, no one could tell it was two different products. Additionally, 9 out of 10 said the W n W looked better.

I hope this will help you out if you're in the market for a more economic version.

Let me know your thoughts??

Bath & Body Works Halloween Haul

I was just browsing Bath & body the other day, and I came across all these cute Halloween items!
Not that I needed them but I love to decorate my house for the holidays and the pumpkin & ghost soaps were just too cute to pass up, So I picked up 3, one for each bathroom in my house.

The Skeleton bag is super cute and roomy and goes over the shoulder, price tag $40.00, I told the sales girl" No way would I pay that much for that bag", then she said they're on sale, so for $20.00 bucks, I scored , next I got the Little Haunted House, it was a purchase with purchase...
You put a big glass candle inside, it is very well made, and not cheap looking at all.

Next moved on to the hand sanitizers , again must haves, especially when you have kids. ( I bought 5 total ) plus I got 2 mini Twilight woods for men body wash
( which smells so good on my husband).

Plus I had a 20% off coupon, so total for everything pictured including a few not shown. with tax came out to $49.82.......What a bargain, for all I got!! ( It was over $118 before entering all sales codes and promos)

My suggestion, If you like anything from my haul , you go get them soon!!

Let me know what you think?????

Love this skeleton bag! Can be used all year not just halloween time!

I had to get these hand sanitizers, especially Vampire Blood, because I love true blood.

Suds-n-Sass Jelly Balm Review & swatches

Top Row Milan Kiss my sass gloss
LT to RT..Holiday Wishes, A star is born, Purplerazzi, Red Velvet, Charmed, Lucky Penny

I love colored Lip Balms and glosses let me start by saying, I also love to support small businesses.
I have tried several colored lip balms and glosses from smaller companies, and let me say I was not impressed at all, to the point where I would never repurchase another lip product from the company(s). They were either too drying on the lips, would get hard after a month or so ( the balms), the flavoring was horrible, NO color payoff, etc.
You know they look gorgeous in the tube and you put it on , and look in the mirror and ask yourself " Where is the color "? Yup you know we have all had that happen.

I bought a few lip balms, they're called Jelly Balms at Suds-n-Sass, last year, swatched them once then basically forgot about them.
Recently I found them and opened the jars, still looking brand new, so I tried them again......OMG.............. yes that was my first thought.

The balms were still super smooth and moisturizing and best part the color payoff is amazing....I am sad because I lost 3 of the colors, but these are swatches of the 4 I bought last year and I also just purchased 2 more and 1 of her new lipglosses in Milan...and received them today.
Jelly Balms come in 10 grams jars and are $7.00 and you can pick your own flavor, or no flavor at all, my personal favorite is bubble gum.

Elizabeth is the owner and the product maker... She is very personable , she ask for input on a lot of her products, and she even writes you a personal note and gives a sample.
Which I myself think is awesome.... So you know she appreciates your business and you're not just an order number but an actual person.
It is the little extras in my book that count, and make me a returning customer.

Shipping cost is a little high in my opinion, but it is quick, and the quality is great!

I would Highly recommend her company to my friends and family, I have purchased from suds n sass in the past, bath bars and a marshmallow body souffle and scrub, which was to die for.
I used it all up.. sniff...sniff...tear

She also has some sort of affiliates program where you can apply for a one time product review on her products I believe, and you don't have to have really high sub counts and blog followers to qualify.....I really hate when companies do that!!!

Suds-N-Sass has sales pretty often so follow her on twitter to find out about them!!

I purchased ALL products with my own money..
