Stila Make Me Blush Review & Swatches

Make Me Blush

Gold overspray comes off after 1st or 2nd use

Beautiful coral pink , color is much more vibrant then picture shows

swatched with Nars orgasm to compare

Ladies I found my new Holy Grail blush for the spring season, Stila Make Me Blush!!

It is a coral/pinky color, just gorgeous, I love Stila products and I really love their new blush, again with the hearts design for valentines day, this truly doesn't disappoint.

The gold over spray comes off completely after the first couple of uses,  but If you missed out on Mac's Marine Life, this is the next best thing.

This is on Stila's website for $14.00, I have not seen it in any stores yet. I actually just placed another order for a backup today!! Because I know this is a Limited Edition and will go fast once word gets out of this Gem!!

It looks coral on me, a little swirl and BAM, a beautiful coral glow from within .  Don't be heavy handed with this blush, because it is very pigmented! I can't wait  when I start getting darker as spring and summer approach because it would look fabulous on darker skin tones too!!

I highly recommend you check this out, you won't regret it!!

Oscar Blandi Root touch-up & Highlighting pen

This is supposed to help with touch ups and highlighting between salon visits.

The formula is ammonia and peroxide free, and  has conditioners in it.
The labeling also states that it is safe for pregnant woman.

It claims to be water proof  and fast drying with professional results in home.
That is not the case with me, I have been using this for well over a week to really make sure it was not my application that was not working.

It is not fast drying and it does get clumpy.  The formula is on the thick side, but even when I used only a little , it still did not dry fast and it felt a bit greasy and sticky  in my hair.

It does cover up grey hair, as it claims, but that's about it.
Overall this product is just not for me, but if you would like to try it for yourself it retails for $23.00 and you can buy it at the link:

I was sent this item for free for review purposes and I only give 100% honesty in my reviews.

Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush

Rose on Left / Natural on Right

Happy Booster  Blush in Natural
Cute Brush but a bit scratchy

Just in time for Valentines 2011; Physicians formula has come out with adorable blush and bronzers in really cute hot pink chrome looking packaging!  The brozers appear cute but very impractical, the colors look muddy. The blushes, on the other hand, are very pretty and apply nicely. They come in a few different colors as do the bronzers. I was lucky to have  a 3.00 off coupon so I paid 8 bucks.  Not too bad for this super cute compact. I bought Natural but I am going back for the darker blush color. It will suit my skin tone better. I highly recommend you check this out because they are L.E. and the display only comes with 2 of each color.
  • Ultra-soft and blendable blushing powder features a fresh and vibrant mix of blushing tones infused with a pop of color to create a healthy glow.
  • Multi-reflective pearls provide a soft iridescence to highlight contour and add radiance to cheeks.
  • Infused with our Happy Boost Blend, featuring Happy Skin and Euphoryl, natural plant extracts which have been shown to promote a feeling of happiness by mimicking the effect of Endorphins and helping protect the skin from environmental stress.
  • The sweet scent of Violet provides a feeling of joy each time you apply.

M.A.C. Mega Metal Shadows VS. Jesse's Girl Baked powder shadows

Top Row Jesse's Girl: Ocean Breeze, Esmeralda, Plum Frost, Rosemary Frost

Bottom Row MAC: Dandizette, Dalliance, Spectacle of yourself, Mating Call

Top Swatches with Too faced Shadow insurance primer

Bottom: Without primer.

Lt to Rt :  MAC Dandizette, Jesse's girl ocean breeze, MAC Dalliance, Jesse's girl Esmeralda, Jesse's girl Plum frost, MAC Spectacle of yourself, Jesse's girl Rosemary Frost, MAC Mating call

Same as above just different picture.

I went to Rite Aid today  and found these Jesse's girl shadows for $3.99 each, which is regular price.  I picked out the colors I liked.

When I got home I started trying them on and swatching them.  The colors seemed very familiar, so I went through my recent MAC purchase and low and behold they are pretty similar in color only, but not texture.

MAC Mega Metals are more soft and buttery compared to Jesse's girl, which has a nice texture but is not as smooth as MAC.

Again these are not dead on dupes or anything, but they are close enough for me  where I know I don't need both.

Also Jesse's girl has glittery fallout, which I experienced with all four colors, and I do not like looking like a disco ball on my face.

I prefer MAC,  but if price is an issue for you, Jesse's girl would be a great alternative.

Let me know your thoughts?

Revlon Fire and Ice collection

RT to LT: Temptress ( pink), Siren ( orange), All Fired Up ( red ) Demure ( peach)

All Fired Up

Rt to Lt: Temptress, All fired Up, Siren, Demure

I was one of the lucky winners who follows Revlon on twitter and I won this collection, as well as many other followers.

Yes it does pay to follow companies on twitter, because most of them have contest and all you do is have to follow and Retweet :)

I absolutely love all the colors in the collection.

The nail polish and the lipsticks have matching names, which makes it very easy to choose what color you want.

The color matching is not exactly a dead on match, but it is as close as it could possibly get.

All the nail colors go on pretty smooth and are very opaque , except for Demure, it is a bit streaky, but nothing two coats can't fix.   Temptress is opaque but a little streaky as well, All Fired Up and Siren are not streaky.

I really like the texture of the lipsticks, the only opaque lipstick is All Fired Up, the three other colors are more on the sheer side.

I would recommend you check out the colors in your local drug store or Ulta... That is where I have seen them in stores.

There is a color in this collection for everyone.

*NEW* Wet & Wild Eyeshadow Trios

This is my Walgreens haul from Thursday. After seeing MakeupNme ( AKA Krystal) swatches of the new trios I had to check them out , these were on a side end cap , same as the Holiday icon palettes were.

They still had one of every color left ( the display only comes with two of each palette),  these are the only ones that looked appealing to me.

I only bought 1 nail polish, the other colors didn't look unique enough to me.
I was more excited to find these little travel size Cetaphil travel size bottles at the checkout counter, and they were buy one get one free.....woo hoo score ;)

Again these are good quality for being drug store products.
I know a lot of you still think, Wet & wild are cheap quality because the price is very inexpensive, but they have really stepped up their game as I have said many times!!

The palettes are only $2.99 and the polish is $1.99.

Krystal has really good swatches on her youtube channel, so If you all are interested check it out here is her link:

M.A.C. Peacocky Collection Haul

Here are the shadows I got from the Peacocky collection.

From Top: Flaunting it, Exxxhibitionist, Scandelicious, Peacocky, Vanity Fair

My initial thought on these when I first opened and swatched the mega metal shadows , was disappointment , only because  I thought they were suppost to be a cream to powder finish.

After playing with them for a few days, they have grown on me, and I really like them.
I purchased 3 from the pro site without seeing any reviews or swatches on them , then today at the Mac store I purchased 6 more of them.  Yes they are that good.

Sounds crazy right?  I love the texture on these, they're blendable and easy to work with, very smooth, not chalky at all.

I also love the kissable lip colors, the pigmentation is wicked good , none of them are sheer, so a little goes along way.

I am very pleased with the Peacocky collection , but not pleased that  M.A.C.  keeps coming out with collections every 2 to 3 weeks, it is really getting ridiculous!!   ( I'm taking a M.A.C break, or try too anyway )

I plan to attend to the release party for Wonder Woman Feb 1st , and NO pro discount for this collection either as usual with special packaging.

Please let me know your thoughts?

INGLOT products are amazing, I can't say enough good things about this company!

The Gel liners stay put all day, I absolutely love their lip paint/gloss duos, the nail enamel is fantastic, eyeshadows are very get the point.

The only down side is that there are only a few stores in the U.S. and are not easily accessible to everyone, since the stores are are so far and few.

But if you are lucky enough to come across a store, JUMP at the chance because these are top notch products!

So yes I absolutely love these products, and the price point is very good on everything!!

As of now they have stores in , New York, Miami, Newport Beach, Las Vegas and I hear a Los Angeles location is in the works :)
