Covergirl Lip Perfection Review & Swatches

Soulmate, Siren, Divine, Feline
Top to Bottom: Feline, Divine, Siren, Soulmate
Bottom of  lipstick shows true color

I really don't care in general for drugstore products, but lately a lot of drug store brands are starting to impress me.

I had been curious about these for a while now.
Walgreens was having a BOGO sale, so I decided to take the plunge. Very glad I did too!

These colors are amazing, very pigmented and very long lasting, even though they do not advertise that, they stay a really long time on the lips. They  have a smooth texture to them as well.
They are not super moisturizing on the lips, but they are not drying on the lips either.
They are quite nice really.

The pigmentation on these again are insane, especially from any drug store brand lipstick I have ever tried and they come in a few different textures as well.

These run about $7.99 ea at the drug store maybe a little cheaper at Target or Walmart.

I highly recommend you give these a try, I can't imagine you would be a disappointed, especially if you're looking for pigmented drug store brand lipsticks.

Let me know your thoughts??

MAC Viva Glam Gaga 2

Mac & Lady Gaga pair up again!

Lady Gaga 2 Viva Glam lipstick & Lipglass

Lipstick on Left & Lipglass on Right

Im not gonna lie, when I first saw these in MAC on display, I thought these colors were very plain and for lack of a better word, ugly...I tried the lipstick on real quick with no liner, which made me look deathly ill, and just confirmed my first initial thought. I was also in a hurry to get in and out of the store.

I  had to go back the next day to purchase something I forget the previous day, and I also had more time to look around.
I do like to buy the Viva Glam items, because all net proceeds go to Aids research.

I decided to try it again, but this time with a lip liner, and indeed the liner helped  100%, and I loved the color combo, so I decided to buy both the lipstick and lipglass.
I am not crazy about the lipglass , but I really like the lipstick and may buy a back up in the future.
I think these are worth checking out.

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Gloss Review & Swatches

Revlon Color Burst Lip glosses

Crystal Lilac, Strawberry, Rose Pearl, Hot Pink

Very good pigmentation

I love the colors

Hot Pink

Flat applicator

I finally got my hands on a few of the new Revlon Color burst glosses, after a few weeks of searching! They were not in my area for some reason until recently.
I really like the formulation, the pigmentation is very good, especially on the darker colors, I love the new sleek packaging ( Reminds me a lot of Chanel Glossimers ) and I love the Quilted looking tops.

The new flat applicator is very nice, and disperses color evenly on both top and bottom.
Crystal Lilac is a gorgeous color, with a duo chrome finish ( MUST HAVE) , the other colors are gorgeous too, the textures are non sticky, but still last a while on the lips, you can  feel a little gritty  texture on some, but not as much as you do on Chanel Glossimers.
But not much at all, where it would be bothersome.

I would say these are great dupes if you like Chanel Glossimers and not the price tag.

I got mine at Rite Aid Bogo sale, so I got all 4 for less than the price of 1 glossimer.

So all in all I am very pleased with these and since buying the original four colors , I have added Sienna Sparkle to my collection , its a brownish berry color.

Let me know If you picked up any colors.
