Jouer Lip Gloss Swatches & Review

All look very similar on my lips

Shell, Mimosa, Sunset

Shell, Mimosa, Sunset

I have not seen too many blog posts on this brand or heard much about Jouer before. So when Beauty.com was having a Friends and Family sale,  I though "what the heck", I will give this brand a try.

I got three different lip glosses;  Shell which is described as a shimmering Coral pink, Mimosa described as Shimmering golden pink, and Sunset which is described as Shimmering Pink gold.  I don't know what I was thinking when ordering all these; they are very similar to each other, as you can tell by the swatches.

These have Vitamins A, C & E, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil and Pomegranate Seed Oil to moisturize, soothe, nourish, rejuvenate and protect, keeping lips smooth and hydrated.

The glosses glide on smoothly and are not too tacky.  The downfall is they do not last very long on the lips at all,  which is a bummer because the price on these glosses is $20.00 each.  I did get 20% off on the sale, but even at $16.00 these are not worth it.

The colors are nice, but I should have gotten a better range of colors.  None the less, the quality on these glosses is just not there especially for the price.

Have any of you tried these glosses before??

                                                           XOXO,

                                                                    Vicki

  1. I just did a blog post on the two glosses from Jouer that I got in the mail on Friday. I actually bought Mimosa and Blush. Blush is a pretty creamy baby pink. I feel the same way you do about these glosses. I also ordered a pressed powder from Jouer which will arrive tomorrow. I am going to do a blog review on this as well. I do like the idea that they connect together.

  2. I disagree with your review. I hardly ever wear lip colors because most of them make my lips peel. I have the Jouer gloss in Sunset that I purchased with the weekender collection and it is the only lip product that I have used EVER that kept my lips moisturized and non peeling all day. I didn't even use a balm under it! So I guess, for those of us with severely dry lips, this is worth the price.

  3. @ The makeup detectives I really like the colors, but ya not much staying power, I cant wait to see your review?

@ Tiff that is good it works for you, but there are many cheaper alternatives to help extremely dry lips :)
