|The famous Chanel Soleil De Tan Cream Bronzer|
|Left: Swatched heavily, Right: Blended out|
I first purchased this about two and a half to three years ago. I believe it was called Bronze Universal back then; they have since changed the name.
Anyway, I didn't really care for it because it seemed to simply even out my skin tone, like a foundation would. I get pretty tan in the summer, so I ended up returning it.
Since then I have heard it all; how this is the greatest bronzer ever; how it is Holy grail of bronzers; best thing since sliced bread, etc. I didn't even think to give it a second chance, until now.
I have been on such a bronzer kick lately. I am on the search for my perfect bronzer this summer, so I decided to give it another try, and to my disappointment, I still feel the same about this product as I did when I first tried it. Nothing special and certainly not worth the $48.00 price tag.
I do like the unique texture it has, almost like a thick mousse or gel, but that's not really a reason to buy it.
Am I the only one who doesn't think this is best bronzer ever, as so many claim?
Let me know your thoughts?
My search continues for my perfect bronzer.
