Tarte Smolder Eyes Amazionian clay waterproof liner collection

Image provided from Sephora

Look how at all the Bling Bling on the Frame

L-R: Golden Beige, Moss, Violet, Espresso, Smoke, Silver Black

Golden Beige, Moss, Violet, Espresso, Smoke, Silver Black

I was browsing my local Sephora and they had many Holiday 2011 collections in stock so indeed I picked up a few from different brands.  First up on my purchase was this Tarte eyeliner set.

This set was only $39.00 ( the value is insane) because they retail for $25.00 each , and they are all full size liners plus a sharpener is included.

I have used them before. I got one previously from another set I have, so I know the staying power is really good.

I think this a total must have for your Holiday wishlist or even to give as a gift :)

Stay tuned for more holiday sets and swatches coming up on my blog on the next week.

Gucci Westman for Revlon Fall 2011 Expressionists collection lipstick & Swatches

This color is a must have for fall in my opinion.

I must tell you I really am impressed with these lipsticks, they are absolutely gorgeous for one and for two they feel super smooth on the lips. Abstract orange is a warm reddish copper color ,  it's stunning.  Sky line pink is a color I would have to work with more, because it's so light on me, it is actually a nude pink w a little frost, but none the less very pretty as well.  I picked these up at Walgreens for $6.99 which is regular price and they were on Bogo sale, so even better :)  They only have 3 colors from this collection on the display so you might want to grab yours soon, if you like them. I don't think you will regret getting any on the 3 colors. The 3rd color is a purple/berry color.  Be on the lookout for that review very soon :)

Revlon Blue Mosaic , Starry Pink & Facets of Fuchsia swatches

Click on any picture to enlarge

Facets of Fuchsia , Starry Pink,  Blue Mosaic

Facets of Fuchsia

Starry Pink

Blue Mosaic ( my favorite)

Gucci Westman for Revlon/ Fall 2011 Expressionists collection nail polish

Got these at Walgreens , they are $4.99 each, and Limited Edition ( shocker)

They are on a small display, each display only has 3 of each color and some L.E. shadows that are gorgeous, I will post pictures soon :)

I like Blue Mosaic the most,it has green, silver and small turquoise glitter chunks  but it is very sheer, it takes 3 coats.  Starry Pink to my surprise is very pigmented, it took coats, but it is my least favorite.
It is a bit too boring of a color for my liking.  It has silver glitter chunks.

Facets of Fuchsia has a black base w big and small chunks of purple glitter, that is my second favorite, you can achieve nice color with 2 coats, but I did use 3 to even it out.

These do not feel gritty on the nails at all. I do think Revlon has some great colors out there with very nice opaque coverage with 1 coat, but not with these, especially the Mosaic Blue.

China Glaze Cross Iron 360 Review & Swatches

No Flash

With Flash

Cross Iron 360 is a gorgeous orange color, application is very smooth , and almost opaque with one coat. I am pretty impressed with the formulation of this color.

It came in the China Glaze collection, which was good, because I would have probably never tried it otherwise. ( I love it )

I have a few picture with the China Glaze Crackle over it, and it looks ok,  again you know CG crackle is not my favorite.  But it came in the set as well, so what are you gonna do.

I highly recommend getting this set if you find it at Sally Beauty Supply.

China Glaze It's Alive nailpolish review & swatch

I really this color, I don't have any color quite like it in my collection, I like the chunky glitter effect it has.

I did have to apply to 3 coats to get it even, but with most chunky glitter nail polish that is normal.

I got this at Sally Beauty for $11.59 because I am a card holder, but it is $12.99 for those of you who are not. No biggie.

Its such a gorgeous greenish, mossy color, but with pizzaz :)

Thumbs up in opinion.

New Beauty Test Tube Review / QVC Edition

I have been a QVC shopper for a few years, and I love the beauty products and brands they have.
So when they teamed up with Beauty Tube to have a QVC exclusive , I was all over it.

I think the QVC edition, is a way better deal, from what I have seen from many reviews from the one you buy straight from Beauty tube and the QVC one.

Love the pink box :)

Cute packaging.

Here is what I got!!

These three Full size products alone are worth more then the 29.99 subscription

These are the Deluxe mini samples, and most are very good size.

First shipment includes:
  • 0.5-fl oz Perricone Face Finishing moisturizer
  • 2-fl oz philosophy microdelivery wash
  • 0.08-oz Fresh Sugar Rose lip treatment
  • 0.20-fl oz smashbox full-size lip enhancing gloss
  • 0.0056-oz It Cosmetics full-size brow pencil
  • 2.75-oz Lavanila body butter
  • 0.75-oz Oscar Blandi Pronto Invisible dry shampoo
  • 3-oz Lea Journo hair conditioner
  • New Beauty magazine
  • Made in Korea/France/USA
Come on now, what a super deal, the subscription is 29.99 every 3 months plus shipping , and you get a great variety of beauty products to try.

Plus QVC has really great prices on the actual items they sell, many items  is below retail price,  like what you would find in Sephora, Dept stores, Ulta, etc.

This is way better then Birchbox in my opinion, I have never received this many good products in all the months I have been receiving my birchbox.

You also have a 30 day money back guarantee from anything you buy from QVC.
I sound like a QVC infomercial, ( I would love to work at QVC )  LOL.

Seriously I love shopping with them and they have awesome Customer Service, and you all know, my biggest pet peeve is Bad Customer Service, I don't care how good a product is, If I get Bad Customer service, I will never buy from the company again!!
