Rimmel Long Lasting Lipstick by Kate Moss Swatches & Review

01 , 08 , 12 , 14

01, 08 ,12, 14

I think I only owned one Rimmel Lipstick prior to getting these four. ( The purple packaging )

Of coarse the packaging caught my eye, it looks sleek...lol

These colors look matte in the tube, but on your lips they look and feel like a satin formula.  My favorite is 08, its like a nude pink color and my least favorite is 12 , a bright tangerine color, but it will look great once I get a tan.

I bought mine on Ulta.com , I seen them at Walgreens a few weeks back, but when I decided to go back and get a few , they were all sold out...Well the colors I wanted anyway.

The special packaging is to celebrate Kate Moss' 10 year Anniversary with Rimmel London.
I am not sure If these are limited, you know how sometimes companies release only a few on a display and wait a few months to bring out more of the collection. ( Sucks)

What do you think of the collection? Will you be picking up any??

What it is:
A waterproof liquid eyeliner.

What it does:
Rich in polymers, this superior eyeliner offers an impeccable hold that guarantees water-, tear-, and smudge-proof color. Its ergonomic, foam-tip applicator is designed to resemble a makeup brush handle for the quickest, easiest, and most accurate application.

What else you need to know:
This product is fragrance free and ophthalmologist teste
d.

I am not a huge fan of liquid liners, but these ones are pretty good!

I dont use them on a daily basis, only when I'm going somewhere and want my eyes to really pop!

They have great staying power and I love the pigmentation on them, also I love the colors that I have.

Not your everyday colors by any means.  ( Well at least not for me )  These retail for $23.00 each.

I did buy these at Imats in a bundle deal, (I have one more that came in the set but not pictured) and I think I paid around $50.00 for all  five of them :)

Do you prefer liquid or pencil liner??

L'Oreal Magic Lumi Light infusing primer

Rubbed into my skin

subtle glow

Drug store products seem to be hitting the top of my makeup must haves lately!! ( SHOCKER)

I have been testing out this primer for a about two weeks, and I must tell you , I LOVE it :)

I have used it under my foundation , mixed in with my foundation and even alone just as a highlight and it works great.

I am on the more oily side, and I have had no problem with this at all.  YAY

It gives a gorgeous glow from within look...Bye..Bye dull skin.

I got mine at Ulta for $12.99, but Im sure Target or Walmart might sell it for cheaper.

Totally worth a try if you haven't already!

                                                         XOXO,

Guerlain Meteorites Cruel Gardenia Illuminating Iridescent Powder / Spring 2012

natural light

This powder is so GORGEOUS, from the detailing of the flower to the packaging!!!

I could not capture the actual duo-chrome pink color on my camera :(... None the less you can still see all the fine detail work of the product.

This will set back about $67.00 plus tax ( ouch ), but it is so worth it?  For me , yes.
I think the color is very unique.

I am not a big fan of Guerlain Meteorites either, but this is very different from the other ones.

It applies very smooth, nice texture and I love the color, I use it as a eyeshadow and a highlight.

I think this color will suit most skin tones.  This is flying off shelves, so If you want it, JUMP ON IT :)
Before it's on ebay for $100 plus. and believe me, it will be.

I purchased mine at my local Bloomingdales, and there was only 1 more left after my purchase.

What do you think?

My Glam January bag

January's Theme is Back to Nature

How cute is the Pink shipping Envelope!

Freeman facial Peel-Off  mask ( 8 oz / Full size) $8.00  & cute bag ( free )

the Balm Shady Lady eyeshadow in Shameless Shana ( 0.12 oz  full size) $16.00

Sheer Cover Concealer duo in light/medium ( 0.10 oz )  $14.50

Wen Sweet Almond Mint cleansing conditioner ( 2 fl oz. )  $2 and change

I was so excited when I first heard about MyGlam back in early December, unfortunately I missed the cut off for the December bag , but I enrolled in time to start in January!!!  YAY

When I saw this pink package in my mailbox today, I got the biggest smile on my face.

I am extremely happy with all the products that came in this months bag and look forward to trying them!
( I actually have tried the Balm shadows in the past and I love them )

I love monthly subscriptions for products, I get Test Tube Beauty/ QVC edition which is every 3 months and I used to get ( Not saying name) but came in a BOX hint ,hint  , yes I'm sure you all know what company that I speak of...Anyway I was very unhappy with that subscription.

I felt it was way more misses then hits and I was always getting mine towards the end of the month ( BOO)  so I cancelled it :)

My Glam is only $10.00 a month , and look at all the wonderful items you get!  I did see what came in December bags and it looked great as well. You get way over $10.00 of product.

The Value on the items is about $39.00 for January . plus it came with a few coupon codes.

Will I keep it?   YES!!

I know that My Glam received so many subscribers from the get go, that they had to stop sign ups, but keep an eye out on their facebook and twitter to see when they will start up again.

This is a new company , but  from what I have seen and heard from other My Glam subscribers this is definitely one monthly subscription you want to get!!

Dior Garden Pastels 441 Spring 2012 Palette Review and Swatches

Top liner is Urban Decay Oil Slick

Liner is Urban Decay Graffiti

Dior Garden Pastels is one of two new palettes in Dior's Spring 2012 makeup collection.

I really like the colors, but I don't like the colors in one palette. They are very pretty colors and they all are shimmery ( which I love) but there is no crease color to define the eyes.

It kind of seems like Dior didn't put much thought into the colors being in one palette, they just concentrated on the flower embossed design :(

I picked this one up at Macy's for $59.00 , which is the same price on most Dior palettes unless it is Limited Edition packaging.

I'm sure many Dior lovers will buy this because it is Limited Edition, but I am not to impressed with this one.

I do it like it better then the other palette from this collection, but again it doesn't work well together.

This is IT Cosmetics very first TSV ( Today's Special Value) on QVC.  This kit will be available for one day only January 13 , 2012.

This set is an AMAZING value and will be TSV price for $49.98 and $6.22 shipping , Run don't walk , seriously it will sell out at this price, and you want to be able to get your correct concealer color :)

Here is what QVC says about the kit:

What is it: Developed alongside leading plastic surgeons, and using antiaging ingredients, this four-piece collection helps bring about a more youthful-looking radiance while concealing imperfections, and blurring away the look of pores, fine lines, and wrinkles.

Who is it for: Anyone who wants to instantly conceal imperfections, diffuse the look of lines and wrinkles on the face, blur away pores from view, and achieve a more radiant-looking, air-brushed complexion.

Why is it different: Bye Bye Under Eye Antiaging Concealer is a full-coverage concealer which can also be used as a foundation, that delivers highly pigmented coverage that won't crease or crack. Bye Bye Pores Antiaging Silk HD Micro-Powder is a colorless face-finishing powder that instantly blurs away pores, fines lines, and imperfections to give you a flawless, airbrushed finish. It absorbs oil and shine, sets makeup, and helps to diffuse the appearance of wrinkles and pores. Heavenly Luxe Powder Brush and Dual Airbrush Foundation/Concealer Brush are the most ultra-luxe, ultra-plush tools for perfect airbrush application.

How do I use it: Using the Heavenly Luxe Dual Airbrush Concealer/Foundation Brush, apply Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer directly to your skin in circular motions for a flawless, airbrushed finish. A small amount of this highly pigmented, full-coverage concealer goes a long way.

Next, apply a small amount of Bye Bye Pores Silk HD Micro-Powder all over your skin. Using either the Heavenly Luxe Powder Brush or the Dual Airbrush Concealer/Foundation Brush dust the powder on in circular, sweeping motions and watch as your pores and fine lines instantly blur away! A small amount of this oil-absorbing, skin-perfecting powder goes a long way and leaves your skin feeling silky soft! The colorless formula is suitable for all skin tones
.

Here is what I say:   I love IT Cosmetic's and have purchased other products from them in the past and did  reviews on them....You won't be disappointed! I really love their brushes, they are uber soft and  have very minimal shedding, if any!  Over $165.00 Value for around $50.00, LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

Here is the Link to buy it on that day for $49.98 http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx?view=2&app=detail&params=item^A220840,frames^y,from^se,cm_scid^isrc,cm_ssi^Item:%20A220840&cm_re=PAGE-_-SEARCH-_-A220840

Revlon Lip Butters

You could say I'm a little obsessed with these :)

These are my favorite lipsticks that I have tried up to date, and I have tried many brands, high and low and these are perfect.

I will put up swatches if you would like, but there are so many swatches of them all over the web.

They are lipstick with lots of moisture and apply oh so smooth, hence the name lip butters.  I think a lot of people think they are a lip balm product, but they are not.  They are lipsticks!!

Some are very opaque and some are sheer but they all have the same moisturizing texture.

They retail between 7 to 8 dollars , depending where you  buy them.

I have collected these over the past several months.

                                                                          Vicki

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 hr Eyeshadow Swatches and Review

Audacious Asphalt , Pomegranate Punk , Bold Gold

Audacious Asphalt , Pomegranate Punk , Bold Gold

These are some pretty awesome drugstore cream shadows! I am very pleased with this purchase.

They come in 10 colors but I only purchased 3 of the colors ( I fancy these most ).

These are pretty much a dupe for M.A.C. paint pots , but I think these stay on alot better then the M.A.C. ones and also are about half the cost, I bought mine at Target for $ 6.99.

All three of the colors I purchased are shimmery , but I love shimmer...So I'm good. They do have a few matte colors.

I have been wearing them for the past two weeks , testing them out and I must say I love them all equally.

I have had no trouble with fallout , I use them as a base mostly, but have worn them as a lid color alone and they look great that way too.

You need to use a makeup remover that can take off waterproof mascara because these can be a little stubborn sometimes.

I usually use purity and that usually works fine :)
