Too Faced Boudoir Eyehshadow collection Review and Swatches

I love the little tin it comes in.

wish it had a mirror

Colors in order as picture above and below

I love everything about this palette from the colors, names, pigmentation to the cute packaging!

Most of the colors are shimmer except for 1 or 2 matte colors , and one may have glitter flecks, but very minimal.

I was not a fan of the Urban Decay Basics palette , it was a bit too boring for my taste.

This one is definitely right up my alley.

My only gripe about the palette is it has no mirror which is not to big of a deal , but it would have been nice.

It comes wth a little tri fold pamphlet of different looks you can achieve with the palette, which can be very useful for beginners.

The palette Retails for $36.00 and I picked mine up at Ulta. You can buy these at Sephora and theToo Faced website as well.

I think this palette is very versatile and for me a must have.

Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Candy Glow Review and Swatches

When I seen this at Ulta this past weekend , I fell in love with the packaging!!
It is so adorable and I am a sucker for cute packaging :)  C'mon you know you think it's cute too.

In love with the actual product ? Hmmm , not as much as I hoped.

It is a very pretty color but it is lacking pigmentation. I needed a few layers to get good color payoff on my cheeks.

I think for you fair skinned ladies this will do well, but for medium to tan or even darker we need a little more to pull it off.  Be careful though , it can get a bit too shimmery even down right frosty...eeek!

I wish the packaging itself was a tin , it is a flimsy cardboard :(

Is it a keeper??  Yes , at least for me and not because the product is so good, it is really not that bad of a product either but I am keeping it because I love the cute novalty packaging and the color is pretty.

It retails for $29.00. I got mine at Ulta.  None of my local Sephora stores have this in stock yet.

I think it would make a cute Valentine's gift too.

L'OREAL Caresse Lip Shine Lip Stain Review & Swatches

186 , 187 , 189

Berry Persistant , Infinite Fuchsia, Pink Rebellion

After wiping off with a wipe this is the residual.

L'Oreal has another winner on their hands with these Caresse lip shine lip stains.

They feel very smooth and hydrating on the lips and have very good staying power.

These are my top 3 favorite colors of the bunch.

I highly recommend you check these babies out if you haven't yet.

These are compared to the YSL lip stains and for a fraction of the price and a better color selection, you can invest in a few without putting a dent in your wallet.

They retail for around $7.99 , but keep an eye out for a bogo sale on these because you may want to stock up on a few colors :)

Wet 'n Wild Fergie Centetstage Collection Part 2 / Maldives Sky & Dutchess Lounge Swatches and Review

Here is my final review on the Wet'nWild Fergie centerstage collection.  Previous post for the lipsticks are here and eyeshadow here.

Maldives Sky is certainly the brightest palette of the collection, again with this palette all colors are great except for one; the lightest color which is a seafoam color. It was very hard to pick up any color on my brush as well as my finger tips.

Dutchess Lounge looks so gorgeous in the pan but the three darker colors are just too similar , they look pretty much the same on the eyes.

Overall thoughts:
The palettes all seem to have at least one color that is a dud, some even two colors and some are too chalky for my liking.
For the price of $4.99 they are worth a look if you are interested  in one palette but I think you can get better quality and a ton more colors if you invest in the 88 or 120 color palettes. ( they are not a WnW product )

The stars of the whole Fergie Centerstage collection are hands down the lipsticks.

So did you pick up anything from this collection?

Wet 'N Wild Fergie Centerstage collection Desert Festival & Metropolitan Nights Review and swatches

Today I bring you Wet 'n Wild Fergie Centerstage collection Photo Op Eyeshadow palettes in  Desert Festival and Metropolitan Nights.

Desert Festival is one of my favorites of the four ; pigmentation is good on all except the lightest color, it was very hard to layer to even get descent color payoff.

Metropolitan Nights is next; the yellow and taupe color are very hard to work with and don't blend well at all. The taupe especially is really chalky.

I have the two other palettes to show in the next review.

These are available at Walgreens for $4.99 each.

I will let you know my overall impressions in my next post with the two other colors.

Wet 'n Wild Fergie Centerstage Collection Shimmer Palettes

Carnaval in Rio / Rose Golden Goddess

Carnaval in Rio / Rose Golden Goddess

Here are two of the Wet 'n Wild shimmer palettes from the Fergie Centerstage collection.

The collection has 3 colors but I felt the light pink one was just not for me , so I passed.

Carnaval in Rio is a bronze shimmer , which would work for all all different skin tones.

Rose Golden Goddess is a copper orange color; which I think would work better for medium to darker skin tones.

These by no means are to be worn as a blush , unless you want to shimmer and glow like a cullen ;) They are indeed highlighters.

I picked mine up at Walgreens and they are $5.99 each.

I think for the price and being a drug store product these are pretty good.  I don't find these to be chalky at all.

Definitely worth a look :)

Maybelline Color sensational Vivids Review & Swatches

I must say 2013 has started off really good with all the drug store makeup lines. I am totally obsessed lately trying all the brands and items.

With all the bright, bold and colorful lip products it seems like spring has sprung everywhere , even though it is still winter.

I love the bright packaging of Maybelline's new Vivid color senational lipsticks. Now let's take a look at the glorious bright and bold colors!! Just looking at them makes me happy.

Fuchsia Flash , Vivid Rose, Hot Plum

I picked up mine at Target for $5.99 a piece , which is pretty cheap compared to Walgreens and cvs.

If you are looking for colorful lipsticks these will definitely tickle your fancy. Winter lips were all about red for me, but now I am all about pink for the upcoming spring and summer season.

Wet N Wild Fergie Lipstick Review & Swatches

A033 , A039, A040 , A041
Fergie Daily, Fuchsianista, D-Vinely Chilled , Ferguson Crest Cabernet
Fergie Daily, Fuchsianista, D-Vinely Chilled , Ferguson Crest Cabernet

The new Wet n Wild Fergie collection hit my Walgreens a few days ago.

I picked up these four lipsticks, the eyeshadow quads, and a blush/bronzer which I will show in the next post or two.

The display has several lipsticks, as well as nail polish and the eye primer and gel eyeliners, which I skipped for now.

First color is Fergie Daily which is a nude color, unfortunately for me it makes me look like death :( as so many nude colors do.

Second is Fuchsianista which is pretty much as the name describes; Fuchsia with a hint of blue flecks in it.

Third is D-Vinely Chilled, which is my favorite color of the bunch,. It is a metallic pinky purple wine color.  It is so gorgeous but it is very drying on my lips because it does have glitter chunks in it.

Lastly is  Ferguson Crest Cabernet which is a berry wine color.

Three out of the four felt pretty good on the lips but my favorite D-Vinely Chilled on is very dry. Bummer for me because that is the one I wanted most.

I picked these up for $3.49 each and the display which was supposed to have $1.00 off coupons were all gone.

Have any of you been on the hunt for these?

Physicians Formula Super BB / All in 1 Beauty Balm Cream SPF 30

I picked this up at Rite-Aid a few days ago , they had a concealer and powder as well on the display pictured , but sold out in the color I needed, which is Medium/Deep.

I am always on the hunt for the latest and greatest so called BB creams on the market. ( they always end up being glorified tinted moisturizers)  There are only 2 color choices; Light/Medium and Medium/Deep. Unfortunately this will not work for everyone with the limited shades.

Looks a little dark when first applied on my hand , but after blending it out it looks good.

It claims to have 10 + beauty benefits;  Soothing , Moisturizing , Protecting, Firming , Priming & Filling, Perfecting , Concealing, Brightening, Line-softening , Long-wearing.

I don't agree with the 10 benefits it claims , but overall I like that is has spf 30 , it doesn't turn orange or muddy looking , and it is long wearing.

You can buy it for  $10.95 to 13.95 depending where you buy it.  My local Rite-Aid had a $12.95 label but it rung up at $8.95 plus the display has a $4.00 off coupon so I only paid $4.95.

I am interested in trying the powder and concealer too, but I am in no hurry to run out and buy it any time soon.

Have you tried this yet?? What are your thoughts??
