With all the hype of BB and CC creams on the market now, I swear I have tried so many and have been disappointed because they just end up being a tinted moisturizer with a different name.
I have tried a few Asian BB creams and they are all way too light for my skin and look grey. Not a flattering look for anyone.
When I came across Chanel CC cream at Nordstrom I had to try it!
This is thicker than most creams I have tried and although it is a bit too light for me, I still like it.
I am a NC42 in Mac foundation for reference, even though I don't wear their foundations anymore.
This is definitely more yellow than most creams, which is good for those of you who can't use other BB or CC creams due to the grey cast making you look ashy.
When I blend this into my skin, at first it looks like death, but within 10 minutes it does warm up and blends into my skin a little more, however it is still too light for me, so I just apply a darker powder or bronzer over it, which makes it look better.
For me this is not a quick application and go type of CC cream, it is for when I have more time too get ready.
Bottom line: I do like it even though it is a little more work for me due to the lightness in color. I suggest you take a look or even get a sample next time you are near a Chanel counter.
