Tarte BB Perfecting Liquid Foundation and Brush Review and Swatches / Comparisons

BB Foundation is a tad lighter in color

BB foundation / Amazonian clay foundation both in Tan.

Here is What QVC Says:
What is it: Combining all the benefits of a BB cream with the coverage of a foundation, tarte's Beyond BB Perfecting Liquid Foundation delivers medium-to-full coverage and a semi-matte finish while it moisturizes, protects, covers, corrects, and brightens.

Who is it for: Anyone looking for a foundation that moisturizes, evens, and illuminates skin from within.

Why is it different: The medium-to-full-coverage formula delivers a semi-matte, natural finish while moisturizing and evening out skin tone. Infused with tarte's multi-mineral complex, it nourishes and conditions skin while protecting with SPF 15. Optically activated particles diffuse light to illuminate skin and blur the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for flawless-looking skin.

How do I use it: Dispense a small amount of foundation to the back of your hand and apply using the Balancing Act Foundation Brush. Start at the center of your face, lightly brushing outward and down until blended. To build coverage, lightly dab the brush over imperfections. The unique shape allows for easily application under the eyes and around the nose and mouth.

Say hello to one of my new favorite foundations Tarte BB Cream liquid foundation.

I like that it gives more of medium coverage even though I know they describe it as giving medium to full coverage.

I bought the color Tan and it works great , this formulation runs a tad lighter than the Tarte Amazonian clay foundation which is great for me because the medium in that formulation is too light and the tan a bit too dark.

This is a QVC exclusive until Jan 2014.

I prefer this new BB foundation over the Amazonian clay that one actually breaks me out , but it does provide more coverage if that is what you are looking for.

Now onto the brush , it is amazing it is cut at an angle and works perfect for application with liquid foundations. I usually am not a fan of Tarte brushes but this one is a winner :)

It retails for $39.50 and includes the brush , I am sure it will sold separately when it is available from the Tarte website.

So grab it from The Q for a great deal.  I must tell you I am not a fan of the BB primer either and this new BB cream foundation is different so you might want to try this even if you didn't care for the primer.

XOXO,

Vicki
