I will be sowing you the Take Me Home collection which includes:

  • "Kiss You" Liquilights Glow Gloss - Orange glitter rush lip gloss that glows to neon yellow under UV light
  • 4+1 Eye Shadow Palette in the perfect nude shades:
  • "Back For You" (velvet crème), "Change My Mind" (peachy shimmer), "C'mon C'mon" (soft taupe), "Little Things" (smoky brown), "Take Me Home" (golden glitter crème)

The colors in this set are nice colors but the quality is bad!!

It reminds of cheap makeup that you can buy at a toy store for girls to play with.

Unless you are a die hard One Direction and need everything they come out with, you should really pass on this makeup.

You can follow them on Facebook here

Do you know any die hard One Direction that would buy this?

Milani Constellation Gel Eye Liners Fall 2014 Limited Edition Review and Swatches

Enchanted Emerald

Enchanted Lapis

Enchanted Black Opal

Milani has come out with three *New* Limited Edition Constellation gel eye liners.

Which are all the buzz in the beauty community and blogoshpere.

I tracked these down at my local Walgreens for $5.19 each.

I must say these are gorgeous and come with a functional brush , many products come with cheapy little brushes but this one actually works pretty well.

Are you all star gazed by the beauty of the prismatic colors yet??

I was hoping these would perform as good as they looked, but sad to report they do not.

The texture is smooth , great pigmentation  and creamy which is supposed to be a good thing , right?  Well not in this case.

They take some time to dry, too long actually and seem like they never really dry completely.

I tried thick lines, thin lines and both failed to dry completely. They smear like a mofo too.

Not to mention glitter fallout.

I am a fan of Milani but these liners fall short.

Did any of you pick these up?? I would love to know your thoughts.

Wet 'n Wild Fall 2014 Collection / Matte Lipsticks in Sweet Cream, Bordeaux, Sunset Siren, Urban Night

Sweet Cream, Bordeaux Boulevard, Sunset Siren, Urban Night

Sweet Cream

Urban Night

Sunset Siren
Bordeaux Boulevard

Wet 'n Wild has come out with four new matte lipsticks for fall, along with a Halloween collection.

I purchased these four lipsticks several weeks ago but recently I've seen them on Wet'n Wild's  new Halloween display along with more new fall colors.
So if you missed these last month, they may be easier for you to find now.

These might be a Walgreen's exclusive, but I am nor 100% sure.

The colors are all great fall colors. My least favorite is Sunset Siren it leans on the more orange side. I prefer blue toned reds.

Retail is around $2.39 -$2.99.

So what do you think of the colors??

Milani Bedazzled Collection Lipsticks in Enchanted Topaz, Enchanted Ruby and Enchanted Amethyst Review and Swatches

Milani has come out with a new limited edition collection called "Bedazzled".

Bedazzled has really blown me away with the three new constellation eyeliners and the three new lipsticks.

It is all so fabulous!!

So today I'm just focusing on the lipsticks.

They are in round gold tubes and smell like Vanilla.
Usually Milani lipsticks come in a square tube and have a strong fruity scent.

The formula is matte and a tad drying but not bad at all.

These retail between $4.19 and $4.99 depending where you find them

I highly recommend you get your hand on the collection, if you can find it.

It is selling out everywhere!!

Stila Eyes Are The Window Shadow Palette in Body Review and Swatches

Top- Pink Diamond, Topaz,  Garnet
Bottom- Rose Quartz, Aquamarine, Emerald

Top- Amethyst, Tanzanite, Midnight Quartz
Bottom- Moonstone, Sapphire, Black Diamond

Stila Cosmetics has come out with four new makeup palettes in celebration of their 20th Anniversary.

They are: Mind, Body, Soul and Spirit.
The packaging is so elegant looking with the sleek gold, silver and rose gold compacts.

Body is the second palette I purchased from the collection.

Check out Spirit review here in case you missed it.

I really fell in love with the colors in this palette and had high hopes.
Unfortunately this one is really hit and miss.

Amethyst is the worst color in the palette as far as pigmentation goes, you really have to pack it on to achieve a descent amount of color. Tanzanite is lacking as well.
Aquamarine is what really drew me to this palette an sadly is a bit tricky to work with, but it is better than Amethyst and Tanzanite.

I am really glad I only paid $29.00 for this palette, because I probably would of returned it if I paid full price.

Exuviance Evening Restorative Complex and Vitamin C Booster Review

Give your skin a beauty boost! Mix Vitamin C+ Antiaging Booster with Exuviance Evening Restorative Complex before bed. The Vitamin C amps up the effects of the Evening Restorative Complex for a potent antiaging cocktail that acts as an evening transformer for all skin types.

- Evening Restorative Complex is clinically proven to improve overall skin texture, tone, and appearance
- 90% saw smoother skin after 4 weeks of using Exuviance Evening Restorative Complex
- Vitamin C+ Antiaging Booster amps up the effects of the Evening Restorative Complex, helping to fade the look of dark spots while improving firmness and smoothing wrinkles

The powerful Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) Gluconolactone in Evening Restorative Complex decreases lines and wrinkles, evens skin tone and improves roughness and texture. Lactobionic Acid - a potent antioxidant - inhibits wrinkles from forming, plumps and firms the skin, and enhances clarity. This bionic blend of PHAs, along with botanicals and Vitamins A, C and E, delivers full-strength anti-aging benefits without drying or irritation, even on the most sensitive skin types.

The 100% pure active formulation of Vitamin C+ Antiaging Booster contains Vitamin C, an essential co-factor in collagen synthesis, known for its power to strengthen skin's matrix, improve firmness and smooth wrinkles. Plus, we've added our patented super antioxidant, Aceta-C™, to enhance the natural antiaging effects of Vitamin C, amplifying its skin-protecting and pigment-evening effects. Together, they help fade the appearance of unwanted dark spots, and strengthen skin's defenses against future discoloration and signs of aging. (What does 100% actives mean? The formula does not contain water or fillers, etc. All the ingredients are benefit ingredients.)

I have been using this for a week,  so far and I really like it.

I even got a compliment on my skin today by the lady who does my brows, she said my skin looked great.

As far the clinical claims I can't say because like I mentioned I have not been using these products long enough.

I can tell you that is really does plump up my skin and is really hydrating.

I will keep you posted as far as longer term benefits.

You can buy it here and at Ulta stores.

Benefit Majorette Cream to Powder Blush Review and Swatches

Benefit has a new product called "Majorette" which is a cream to powder blush.

The packaging is super cute and the compact is very sturdy and it has a mirror.

You can apply it with your fingers or a brush to the apple of your cheeks for a gorgeous pop of color.

Did I mention the shade is a beautiful peachy coral hue and it smells so good. Kind of a fruity scent but not over powering at all.

I think this is a universal shade , so have fun with it and apply it lightly or go bold and apply it heavy.

You can't really mess this color up and it is super easy to blend.

Retail is $28.00 and you can find it wherever Benefit cosmetics are sold.

Stila Eyes Are The Window Shadow Palette in Spirit Review and Swatches

Top- Kitten, Puppy, Pigalle
Bottom-Oasis, Jezebel, Barefoot

Top- Wheat, Golightly, Expresso
Bottom-Chinos, Slate, Pewter

Stila Cosmetics has come out with four new makeup palettes in celebration of their 20th Anniversary.

They are: Mind, Body, Soul and Spirit.
The packaging is so elegant looking with the sleek gold, silver and rose gold compacts.

I picked up Body and Spirit. Pictured above is Spirit (Stay tuned for Body, coming in a couple of days).

Spirit has a good mixture of matte and shimmer colors and will be great for fall.

I really like this palette, the colors are all pretty, my only minor complaint is that 1 or 2 colors were a little harder to work with.

Retail is $49.00 each palette, but I was lucky enough to be able to buy it for $29.00 with a coupon I picked up from Beautycon.

Bottom line: I think this is a great palette to have.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Gold Review and Swatches

Top-heavily swatched / Bottom- blended

Opal, Champagne Gold, Moonstone , Rose Gold

Opal, Champagne Gold, Moonstone , Rose Gold

Champagne Gold & Rose Gold both with L.E. design

You should  all know by now that I love Becca products , they're amazing!

I was browsing a week or more ago on Ulta's website and seen they had a "NEW" color in the Shimmering skin perfector pressed highlighter.

Naturally I had to have it A.S.AP. but with Ulta's extremely slow shipping I had to wait. Now that is a different story entirely.
If you have ordered from Ulta.com before then you know exactly what I am talking about.

I love all my Becca skin perfector's that I already own and thought this would make a great addition.

Unfortunately Champagne Gold has too much yellow in in for my liking. It looks much lighter online.

It really is a gorgeous color but I am on the fence about keeping it.

Retail is $38.00 and is an Ulta exclusive for now.

What do you think?

Make Up For Ever Event Valley Fair with Mai Quynh / Sneak Peek of the 30/30/30 Palette

The NEW L.E. 30/30/30 Palette

A few weeks ago I had the chance to attend an event at the Make Up For Ever store in Santa Clara!

I attended the event with my friend and fellow beauty blogger Krystal

We got to meet celebrity make up artist Mai Quynh , who just happens to be one of the artist who chose a color to be featured in the palette.

Mai did a wonderful demo and after she helped us choose out colors for ourselves.
She was just so sweet and we got to talk to her one on one and in a group.  It was really an honor to meet her.

Mai even helped Krystal and I choose the perfect brow color for us as well as eyeshadows.

We got to a sneak peek at the New 30/30/30 Palette from Make Up For Ever.

The palette is gorgeous and at $250.00 it really is a great deal. It comes in three tiers: Brights, Smokey and Neutrals.

You figure each shadow is $21.00 and with palette you get 30 in the kit for basically $8.00 or so dollars a piece.

It was a great event and so fun meeting and chatting with Mai.

Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 50 Review

Dermalogica website says:

Help minimize skin-aging triggers with this medium-weight, emollient daily moisturizer with Broad Spectrum SPF50. Patented Oleosome encapsulation technology boosts sunscreen effectiveness for critical protection against UV rays, while a unique polypeptide helps encourage collagen-producing activities.

I have been using this for over a month now and it has been my skin savior for the hot summer days in the sun.
I love that it is light weight on my face  yet still lasts a long time, and I can actually put foundation over it and it doesn't get in the way.  I have used other SPF products that don't mesh well with foundations
I have hyper pigmentation and I know it is very important to use SPF daily, but to be honest I have tried several and have been disappointed.  Either it was too thick (which some higher SPF are) and some really light weight ones that need to be reapplied very often through out the day.

So I have skipped it all together for awhile and YES it made the hyper pigmentation much darker over the years.
Retail is $65.00, and that may seem steep to some of you,  but this is a quality product and works very well.
I really like Dermalogica products and would highly recommend all of the ones I have tried so far.

You can purchase it here and most other places Dermalogica products are sold.
