Jaclyn Hill Favorites Morphe Palette Review and Swatches

Row 1 colors -  4, 54, 6, 76, 64, 14, 75
Row 2 colors -  67 , 13, 62,  63, 20, 47, 66
Row 3 colors -  33, 68, 16 , 15, 61, 24, 74
Row 4 colors - 11,  59, 38,  53,  48,  71,  19

Morphe has partnered with You Tube sensation Jaclyn Hill for this collaboration.

These are all Morphe colors which sell individually as well, but Jaclyn Hill just chose her favorite colors to put in a palette.

You can buy these colors separately for $2.00 each if you don't want the whole palette.

Retail is $28 dollars , which a a good deal because it makes each shadow about $1.00 each.

I personally am a fan of the palette but don't particularly love all the colors.

But hey $28 bucks is a great deal and the colors are nice.

My favorites in the palette are:  4 , 11, 19 , 20 , 38 , 48 , 59 and  71 just to name a few.

I believe Morphe has decided to keep this permanent after the over whelming demand for it.

I think this is a great Morphe palette to start with if you have never tried them before.

Did you pick it up? I would love to know your thoughts?

Paula Dorf Cheek Color in Passion Review and Swatch

It's only January in California and it feels like spring already.

Paula Dorf's blush in Passion totally reminds me of spring and summer.

It's pretty much an all year cheek color. It goes with most eye looks too.

The texture is super smooth and has great pigmentation.

I love Paula Dorf cosmetics, and have used it on and off since I was a teenager.

You can buy it  here , a long with all of her other items.

Good news for you all, use Code CHEEK for 20% off!!

What a great deal.

What do you think of the color?

Kat Von D Shade & Light Contour Palette Swatches

Lucid, Lyric, Levitation , Sombre , Shadowplay, Subconscious

Many of you beauty lovers anticipated the release of Kat Von D's Shade and Light Contour palette.

Well as you know it has finally landed online and in Sephora stores.

I know several of you already own Anastasia and It Cosmetics contour palettes.

I think this one is really nice and it has both warm and cool shades. I think this will work on light to dark skin tones. Which is great.

The formula is quite powdery though, which is the only down side of this palette for me.

Retail is $46.00 and is exclusively sold at Sephora as well as Kat Von D's entire makeup line.

They also sell a brush that is double side and marketed specifically for this palette.

You can totally skip the brush, especially since most of you probably already own several makeup brushes.

What do you think of this? Do you plan on purchasing this, let me know if you do.

Lorac Alter Ego lipstick collection is a Kohl's exclusive.

You get five full size lipsticks for $35.00!!!  Holy ish that is a hella good deal.

Individually each lipstick retails for $16.00 each.

I don't own any of the Lorac Alter Ego lipsticks so I am very happy to try these out and even more happier about the price point.

Look how pretty these are, I am loving the color range.

These are already sold out at many Kohl's stores.

If you want to get your hands on these babies you better act fast.

I know you can buy these online as well, so again you need to act fast because this set is a limited edition and will sell out.
( the colors are not limited edition, just them sold as a set is )

Happy Shopping!

Let me know if you were lucky enough to snag these bad boys.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick Review and Swatches

Anastasia Beverly Hills just recently launched their newest product to the line which is a liquid lipstick.

They come have 20 shades as of right now and are available on their website and at Macy's.

I picked up six colors last weekend at Imats and even got a chance to talk with Claudia a.k.a. Norvina, she is Anastasia's daughter.

She is amazingly sweet and talented and is hands on 100% with the products and the company.

These are AMAZING!!

No Joke , they do not feel dry on the lips even though they dry to a matte finish and are a stain.

They have very good lasting power too.

Retail is $20.00.

I highly recommend you try one , two or ten of them :)

Seriously they are that great.

Must haves - Heathers,  Sad Girl and lovely.

Hell now that I think about it, I love all of them equally.

I definitely will be getting more.

Make Up For Ever Desire Me Cheeky Blush Trio / Fifty Shades of Grey Review and Swatches

I may not be a fan of the book  Fifty Shades of Grey nor do I plan to see the movie.

However I am a fan of the Make Up For Ever Desire Me Cheeky set , which is a Sephora exclusive.

You get three full size products and a travel blush brush.

Retail is $49.00 which is a bargain.

The colors all double as eyeshadow and blush , actually two of the colors are actually eyeshadow but were put together in the set as blush and highlight.

Can we talk about the cuteness of the pouch they are housed in.

I think this will work with many skin tones and is worth taking a peek at next time you are at Sephora.

L.A. Girl Beauty Brick Nudes Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches

While during my Christmas vacation I made a quick stop to Naimies, literally I had 10 minutes to get in and out of that store.  ( Which is practically impossible to do).

While scrambling to get my wish list items, I came across the L.A. Girl  display at the checkout.

So I grabbed two Beauty Bricks to try.

First up is the nude palette, because we all need 23,988,344  nude colors in our makeup stash, right?

The colors are pretty nice and for under $10 bucks you really can't go wrong.

It does come with a flimsy brush and the magnet on it is not the best.

I think for a beginner or a teen getting into makeup this palette is a good way to go.

What do you think? Have you ever tried L.A Girl?

Lime Crime Velvetine in Cashmere Review and Swatches

Lime Crime Cashmere is one of the newest and must have colors of the season.

I usually stay away from colors like this but I was intrigued by it too.

I just happened to be at Naimies when they had a new shipment of it that just arrived, so I decided to get it.

I do like the texture and consistency of the velvetines.

I do have some issues with Lime Crime's quality control.

I will get into that on my next Velvetines review!

It is a pinky, grey, beige color and I'm really digging it.

Retail is $20.00 but if you get it at Imats  or if you have a naimies pro card you get 20% discount.

What are your thoughts?

Wet 'n Wild Fergie Collection Brush With Brilliance Blush Review and Swatches

Walgreens has recently stocked the all new Fergie Spring 2015 Collection from Wet 'n Wild.

I picked all three blushes from the collection.

Brush with Brilliance is first up on the blog.

This one may be my favorite of the three so far , although I am still deciding because they are all very pretty.

While you can see it does have some gold flecks in the swatches , it does not apply glittery on the face.

You know I am not a big fan of glitter on the face.

Retail is $4.99 which is a fair price, but you know Walgreens always has sales and some of the displays  have $1.00 off coupons.

I highly recommend you check these out.

Laura Mercier Flawless Contouring Palette Review and Swatches

L to R- contour 1, contour 2, contour 3 , highlight 1, highlight 2

Laura Mercier has come out with a "New" cream contour palette.

Laura had a previous cream palette "Bonne Mine" which had one bronzer shade and a few blush and highlight shades.

I never bought it but I did swatch it in store when it was available. It was nice but something I didn't need.

This is a really nice contour palette and I like that it has three contour shades, which means it is super versatile and will work on light to dark skin tones.

It does not lean orange at all which is a plus.

There are "How to" cards that flip out on top which
I think it is a great idea to have them handy.

I mean let's face it we all have seen someone out on the street and their contour was horrible and you just wanted to help that person. ( blend, blend, blend)  Right??

It is very blendable and does not feel too heavy on the skin.  I am on the more oily side and It didn't add any extra shine.

It is a Sephora Exclusive for now and retails for $50.00.

So will you be picking it up?

Beautylish Lucky Bag 2015

This is the second year Beautylish has had there Lucky Bags available the day after Christmas.

Lucky Bags are limited quantity and once they sell out there gone for good!

Last year they just had two choices Bold and Natural.  This year they had three choices Bold, Natural and MUA.

Each bag is $75.00 but offers $150 plus in value.

This year they also limited one bag to each member , which was cool so people wouldn't hoard them.

The first year I bought Bold and I didn't care for it that much ( to be fair I had most of the products already) so I'm sure if I hadn't I would of enjoyed it.

I went for Natural ( MUA was my first choice but that was gone super fast) , I am really happy with my bag this year.

My bag value is $180.00 which is amazing plus I had a $20 credit from the black friday deal.

I am most happy about the Kevyn Aucoin shadow duo ( Let's face it all  K.A. products are fabulous),  Indie Lee toner ( I have never tried so I am happy to give it a go) and the Wayne Goss #20 brush ( I personally love Wayne Goss brushes, so score)

The Bliss body butter is not my favorite scent but I will give it to a friend who loves the scent.

I am excited to try the Nude Stix mascara and I do like Lit glitters.

Overall this is a fabulous bag and a great time to try new products.

I highly recommend you join the Beautylish community if you haven't already.

Let me know your thoughts?  If you got one , do tell what was inside your bag :)
