COVER FX Custom Enhancer Drops Review and Swatches

We all know the highlight/illuminating game is at an all time high and has been for the past couple years.

Numerous makeup companies have been coming out with their latest and greatest highlighters from drug store to high end and from powder to liquid it's all over the place!

Well Cover FX just killed the highlighting game with their NEW Custom Enhancer Drops.

These are highlighters taken to the 10th power basically and have a metallic like sheen.

What it does:
Custom Enhancer Drops makes bringing adding a highlighting, strobing, or brognzing effect to any liquid cosmetic or skincare product easy. Add them to your favorite foundation, primer, serum, and moisturizer. Available in six universal shades, including four illuminators and two bronzers, these drops can also be used alone, even on top of powder, to create a buildable highlight or sunkissed tint. Custom Enhancer Drops were formulated with a high concentration of pearls that produce a lit-from-within glow without appearing too glittery or overdone. The more drops you use, the more luminosity you’ll get. The result is a beautiful, camera-ready, radiant finish.

Celestial, Moonlight, Sunlight

I ended up buying two shades Moonlight and Sunlight, I did want Celestial but it was sold out at both my local Sephora stores.
Good thing too because I think Celestial is a bit too light for my skin tone. (Got sample of it)

Retail is $42.00 and may seem steep for a highlighter but a little goes along way!

Trust me when I say very little goes far.

I have mixed these in with a few different foundations and in my case I have found the enhancers don't go with all foundation formulas.

I think it is a more trial and error to see if it works with a specific foundation.

Make sure you moisturize prior to use because if your skin is dry the custom enhancer drops will cling to any dry areas you may have and it won't look pretty. Again trial and error on that too.

So let me know if you will be picking up one of these colors?

Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit 2016

I look forward to picking this set up every June from Sephora.

It has so many different products you can try and and travel with.

Some years are definitely better than others but this year is good.

I also love that $20 of each purchase goes to charity. So like I alway say these sets are a win win.

Plus your paying like $2 bucks for each item.

That is a fantastic deal.

This set contains:
- 0.23 oz ALGENIST Sublime Defense Anti‐Aging Blurring Moisturizer SPF 30

Peter Thomas Roth  and Shiseido are usually in these sets and that is a good because these are two of my favorite products.

I own the full sizes in both and love these for traveling.

Click here  to see some of the past sets.

Again for around $2 bucks per item you can't beat the $32.00 price tag.

These sell out every years so get your before they're gone.

Maybelline The Loaded Bolds Lip Color Review and Swatches

Maybelline New York has released a new collection called "The Loaded Bolds" color collection.

The collection has 20 colors in total and has a wide variety of colors from white, neutrals, berries, reds and blues and one black color.

This is such a fun collection especially for a drugstore product.

Retail varies from $5.49 to $7.49 depending where you buy it from.

Mauve it, Berry Bossy, Violet Vixen, Sapphire Siren
direct sun

I am really impressed with the formula, these are a matte formula but they apply so creamy on the lips and look creamy on the lips as well.

You know how some matte formulas end up looking very dry on your lips, these do not.

They all performed very well with the exception of Sapphire Siren.
While it did perform good the color was not opaque and needed to be built up.

I am happy with all the colors I got and Sapphire Blue was just a fun color to buy.

You don't usually see white, blues and blacks in drugstore makeup unless it is around Halloween time.

I highly recommend this formula.

With the array of colors they have in this collection there is definitely a color for everyone.

I love these sets for a couple reasons.

You get to try a mixture of products and brands, you get full size and mini deluxe sizes and these are perfect for travel.

I think I prefer this new set to last years set.

The only repeat form last years box is Becca Opal highlighter which is a good thing in my opinion because that is my favorite Becca highlighter ever so you can never have too many.

This is sold out online already, but you can still find these in stores so I suggest if you want one you go to your local Sephora store to pick it up soon before you miss out on this completely.

The Value is awesome!!

What do you think? Will you be picking this up?

Jeffree Star Beauty Killer Review and Swatches

I was so happy to get my hands on the new Jeffree Star Beauty Killer palette.

I love his velour liquid lipsticks and own several of them.

So I was so glad to see Jeffree is expanding his makeup line.

The hot pink outer packaging is gorgeous and the palette is vegan and cruelty free.

The actual palette is a bubblegum pink with a gold outline.

I mean come on now, really?? Look how beautiful these colors are!

How can you not fall in love with them.

Yes this was my first impression.

Okay now onto the actual review of the shadows.

Star Power, Princess, Violence, Rich Bitch, Courtney

Expensive, Confession, Vanity, China White, Black Tainbow

Although the eyeshadows swatch beautifully using my fingers some colors are definitely more pigmented and smoother than others and some require a little more blending.

Star Power is a gorgeous hot pink but doesn't apply as bright as it looks in the pan, which is not necessarily a bad thing and it can get a little patchy.

Rich Bitch is a fabulous gold color but it is a little gritty and needs a little more packing on the lid if you are using a brush so I recommend using your fingers for minimal fall out.

The rest of the colors performed well.

The size of the actual shadows are big and the palette is very reasonably price at $45.00.

I say this is well worth the money.

I like how slim the packing is and it would be easy to travel with.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this palette.
