Tarte Glam Goodies Discovery Set Review and Swatches

Tarte recently came out with a new set called "Glam Goodies" for only $25.00!!

You get a full size Tartlette Tease palette which retails for $21.00 on it's own, so basically for $4.00 more you get a deluxe size of the NEW  Tartest lash paint mascara and a deluxe size of TBT lip paint.

Tartlette Tease Palette

Whisper, Crush, Heartbreaker

Wink, First Kiss, BFF

TBT lip paint

Tarteist lash paint mascara

I am so happy with this set for a few reasons.

1. I didn't own any of these specific products previously

 2. I get to try the new mascara that was just released and keeps selling out

3. These are all so travel friendly.

4. I love all the colors in this set

This set is a great value and a must have in my opinion.

This is a limited edition set and sold exclusively at Sephora

Are any of you going to be picking this up??

XOXO,

Vicki

Milani 2-in-1 Foundation and Concealer Review and Swatches

Warm Beige 05, Sand Beige 06 , Sand 07
Warm Beige 05, Sand Beige 06 , Sand 07

Milani has come out with a 2 in 1 foundation and concealer recently.

I have been testing it out for a few weeks now and here are my thoughts.

It is a medium to full coverage foundation.
I do feel you might need to use a concealer with this if you have hyper pigmentation or any red spots.

My face does get oily after a few hours of wearing it, so I do need to use powder to set it.

You can definitely feel it on your face, it is not lightweight by any means.

I find that it does oxidizes a little.

The color range runs a little darker than most drug store foundations I have tried.

I do like this foundation for days that I need more coverage , but this is not a everyday foundation for me.

The price point is good for drugstore and it does come in 14 shades.

Warm beige has more of a pink tone in it and makes my face look dull, Sand Beige has more yellow tones and brightens my face and Sand is just too dark for me.

Have you tried this foundation? What are your thoughts?

XOXO,

Vicki

Pixi by Petra Book of Beauty Contour Creator Review and Swatches

Highlighting shades

Bronzer and Contour shades

Pixie by Petra has a new collection called "Book of Beauty" , I believe there is 3 or 4 books in the series.   Very cute concept I must say.

Today I have the Contour creator to show you.

It has 3 highlight shades and 3 bronzer/contour shades. I would say probably only one of them can actually be the contour shade.

You can see by the swatches how the other two bronze shades might be too light for an actual true contour shade.

I think the contour creator will work for most skin tones.

I am a fan of this beauty book.

The powders are very smooth and easy to work with.

The book has a magnetic closer which is nice, I do however think the cardboard packaging is a little on the flimsy side.

Overall it's a good product and I would recommend it.

Retail is $25.00 and you find it at Target and Pixi beauty.

What do you guys think of this palette?

XOXO,

Vicki

*I was gifted this item in a swag bag but all opinions are 100% my own and honest*

Natasha Denona Eyeshadow palette #10 Swatches

So I'm a little late to get on the Natasha Denona bandwagon as you can tell.

I just wanted to give you a sneak peek of one of my newest palettes from Natasha Denona.

I purchased two but am just showing you this one for now.

More to come on this palette and the other one in the near future, so stay tuned.

I am still on the fence on how I feel about them at this point so I need more time to play with them and give you my final thoughts.

I will keep you posted.

Just wanted to show you how pretty the colors are swatched.

XOXO,

Vicki
