Jouer Mermaid Iridescent Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches

Coconut, Pink Pearl, Splash, Dreamer

Jouer Cosmetics has recently launched their Mermaid collection for summer 2016.

You get four fun iridescent colors in this set.
They can be worn alone or over another eyeshadow to give more dimension to your eye look.

I have even used them wet and as a liner.

I am really impressed with these shadows.

The packaging is so cute too and I love how travel friendly these are.

Retail is $38.00 ( $88.00 Value) which is a great deal.

You can get a 20% percent coupon if you sign up on the Jouer website or just follow Christina on Snapchat ( czjouer) she always gives out coupon codes and has specials for her snapchat family.

She is always fun to watch and shows lots of behind the scenes.

I highly recommend you check out Jouer Cosmetics.

XOXO,

Vicki

Sleek Solstice Highlight Palette Review and Swatches

Sleek Makeup is a UK drugstore brand, so many of you probably have never tried it or even heard of it.

If you love highlighters this is definitely one item you should try!

Look how gorgeous this palette is?

I mean really?  See you already think you need it, right?

Ecliptic, Hemisphere, Subsolar, Equinox

The palette has four highlighters 1 cream and 3 powder.
Ecliptic is the cream highlighter and Hemisphere, Subsolar and Equinox are all powders.

I really don't like cream and powder formulas mixed in any palette but it seems to work in this one.

This is such a gorgeous highlight palette and super affordable for a drugstore makeup.

All colors are so pretty and the formulation and texture is nice.

Now for the down-side.

Sleek has recently stopped shipping this particular palette to the U.S.  because of regulations, some ingredient in the formulation that doesn't comply with U.S. guidelines.

I did hear they are working on fixing the problem so they can start shipping them to their U.S. customers again.

I do see some of these palettes being sold on evil bay (eBay) , but order at your own risk.

XOXO,

Vicki

Nars Laguna Tiare Bronzer VS. Nars Laguna , Review and Swatches

Nars has a new limited edition bronzer called Laguna Tiare Bronzer.

It comes in a huge 10g palette and includes a mini ita brush. The packing looks like wood on top and just smooth black on the bottom.

I am not the biggest Nars Laguna fan, I think Nars Casino is more my taste.

I had to see if there really is difference between the new one and the original laguna bronzer.

heavy swatch / blended

Can you notice a difference in color down below??
Left two swatches-Laguna Tiare / Right two -Laguna ( original)

The most noticeable difference is the laguna tiare bronzer is infused with Minoi fragrance.

Also the consistency seems to apply and feel silkier to me.

I don't know if my mind is playing tricks on me but I think this is a smidge darker than the original.

The Monoi scent is very noticable so if you are not into fragrance you will probably not like this.

I think the scent is nice and great for summer.

It is great for face and body.

This retails for $59.00.

Thank goodness for Sephora gift cards :)

So what do you think?

XOXO,

Vicki

L'oreal Glam Bronze Bronzer for Face and Body Review and Swatches

I have been on a bronze kick lately, if you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat you will already know this.

I picked these up a few weeks back at Walgreens when they had a bogo 1/2 off plus I had a coupon for $5.00 off of two L'oreal products.

I ended up paying around $19.00 tax included for both (really good deal).
Since these retail for $14.99 at most stores I gave seen them in.

So yeah a bit pricey for a drugstore product for sure but you do get a ton of product.

Okay so now onto the review.
Medium and Deep
Deep 03

Medium 02

Medium 02 & Deep 03 (blended)

L'oreal has new face and body bronzer for Summer 2016 called Glam Bronze and they come in three shades; light, medium and deep.

I think these may have been released in the past or maybe just in the U.K.

These do appear to have lots of shimmer going on, on the top layer so if you don't want shimmer these are not for you.

Although it is just a overspray it will still take several uses before it is completely gone.

I got medium and deep.

Medium definitely has more of a warm tone to it and might look orange on some skin tones.

Deep however seems more cool which I was surprised at first glance but after wearing it, I really dig it.

The formula is really soft and these can be really sheer which is good because you add up the color intensity to your liking.

I personally like these but again these are not for everyone.

Did I mention these are Limited Edition.

The packaging is so flashy too and I love it.

So what do you think??

Will you be picking these up.

XOXO,

Vicki

Wet n Wild Megaglo Multi-Sticks / Lost in the Wild Flowers Collection Review and Swatches

Hello Sunshine!!!

I swear this packaging is just so fun and happy looking.

These little beauties are part of the Wet n Wild "Lost in the Wild Flowers" spring/summer collection.

They're called multi- sticks, yes very much the same concept as the Nars multiple sticks.

Marigold Round, Light up my High-Biscus, Carnational Anthem

Marigold Round

Light up my High-Biscus

Carnations Anthem

I think many of you who are searching for the super popular highlighters from this collection are seriously looking over these babies.

These are really nice and super affordable.

Retail is $2.99 and I believe Walgreens still has them on Bogo sale.

Marigold Round is perfect for a highlighting , but I think Light up my High-biscus and Carnations Anthem can be doubled as a base color for blush and a highlight.

All the colors are pretty and can work with all skin tones especially since these are a multi use product.

These are definitely worth a try.

XOXO,

Vicki

Cover Girl Katy Kat Matte by Katy Perry Review and Swatches

Cover Girl has teamed up with Katy Perry again for their latest lipstick collection called
"Katy Kat Matte".

This collection was totally not on my radar but when I was in Walgreens the other day; they had just put out the display and they looked so much better than I thought from the pictures I had seen.

Well as you can see this is the outcome and no regrets at all for getting them.

I am really Loving the white packaging and the names are so cheeky and purr-fect for this collection.

Even though these are called matte I would say most of them are a satin or demi matte.

I really like the formula, it is not drying at all and they go on smooth.

The only one I had a problem with is Maroon Meow, it is patchy and balls up after a few swipes in certain areas. ( I ended up returning it)

Cosmo Kitty looked a little dull in the tube but looks more vibrant once applied and is one of my favorites.

Cat Call is probably my second favorite, it is a bright coral pink and perfect for spring and summer.

Kitty Purry is a must have too!

I found mine at Walgreens for $9.49 each plus they are having a Bogo 1/2 off sale right now.

I probably will get one or two more.

This collection has 11 colors in total.

I highly recommend you check them out in store and get a few colors.

XOXO,

Vicki
